I went into this one knowing Kevin Bacon the actor way better than The Bacon Brothers the band. I definitely wasn't expecting this many instruments... or to leave with "Picker" stuck in my head. Such a fun, laid-back show to shoot.

Most unexpected?
The instruments! There was everything from cello and autoharp to guitars and percussion. I don't think I've ever photographed a show with this much switching around on stage.
Song I didn't expect to love?
"Picker." I hadn't heard it before this show and it ended up being one of my favorites.
Best thing about their stage presence?
They just seem so comfortable up there together. You can really see the relationship between Kevin and Michael, and neither one feels like the "sidekick." They both get their moments.
Wait... Kevin Bacon plays that too?
Percussion! Seeing Kevin Bacon on the bongos was not on my concert bingo card, but he was actually really good.
